2025–2030 Multi-Year RGAA Compliance Plan
2025–2030 Multi-Year RGAA Compliance Plan
Digital Accessibility and CSR Commitment
As part of our strategic CSR roadmap "Performance powered by sustainability" (the Group's CSR roadmap for 2025–2030), Manitou Group is actively committed to ensuring inclusivity and accessibility across its entire digital ecosystem. We firmly believe that sustainable performance is inseparable from social responsibility.
Thus, the continuous improvement of our digital platforms' accessibility goes beyond mere technical or regulatory compliance: it constitutes a core pillar of our mission, centered on human values and respect for our environment. We intend to empower all our customers, employees, and stakeholders — regardless of their physical, visual, auditory, or cognitive abilities — to fully benefit from the sustainable and differentiating solutions needed to thrive in a changing world.
Human Resources Allocated to Digital Accessibility
To fulfill this ambition, Manitou Group relies on dedicated governance and a structured human organization:
A UX/UI Designer / Product Owner duo specialized in digital accessibility. As the guardian of the overall user experience, the UX/UI Designer plays a driving role in promoting inclusive design best practices. In close collaboration with Product Owners, they lead the integration of accessibility criteria right from the ideation phase, ensure journey compliance, and facilitate upskilling across the entire design ecosystem.
A network of aware and trained employees. Manitou Group continuously invests in human capital and skill development. This translates into the deployment of specific technical training for our development teams and awareness programs for our digital teams. This cross-functional approach ensures that accessibility is natively built-in (Accessibility by Design) at every stage of our customer digital tools' lifecycle.
External expertise and responsible purchasing: accessibility as an imperative criterion. To support and accelerate its transformation ambitions, Manitou Group leverages cutting-edge external expertise for auditing, team support, and technical development of its digital services. Digital accessibility is now a major decision criterion at the heart of our procurement policy. Since 2025, compliance with the RGAA (Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité) has been integrated as a systematic, contractual, and mandatory clause in all our specifications and tenders for digital tools. By selecting technology partners capable of guaranteeing natively accessible deliverables, we ensure consistency in our societal commitments across our entire digital value chain.
Implementation and deployment of a Design System. Initiated in 2024, the Manitou Group Design System project forms the technical and graphic foundation of our accessibility approach. Developed in close collaboration with a specialized external agency, this UI (User Interface) component library natively integrates RGAA standards. As part of a continuous improvement approach, the implementation of this Design System across the Group's various tools is being carried out in a progressive and industrialized manner over regular update cycles.
Financial Resources Allocated to Digital Accessibility
To guarantee the long-term sustainability, effectiveness, and large-scale deployment of this approach, Manitou Group allocates a dedicated, recurring budget. These financial resources are primarily dedicated to:
- External accessibility audit services
- Remediation actions and technical developments required to bring tools into compliance
- Continuous professional training programs for internal teams
- Maintaining accessibility standards during future functional updates
Accessibility Monitoring Framework
True to Manitou Group's industrial culture of excellence and continuous improvement, a rigorous monitoring and control framework has been established.
Under the oversight of the Head of Digital Operations, websites and applications within the "Digital Offers" scope undergo regular compliance audits. These diagnostics measure strict technical compliance against RGAA criteria while assessing the real user experience for people with disabilities. Each audit results in a precise, prioritized remediation roadmap directly integrated into development cycles (product backlogs). This continuous monitoring mechanism ensures our digital solutions evolve at the same pace as our CSR ambitions, guaranteeing lasting, measurable, and certified accessibility.
Priority Scope for External Compliance Established by Manitou Group
Manitou Group has defined a priority action scope targeting its main digital tools (website, applications, portals) and external-facing applications (customers, dealers, partners).
